These terms apply to everyone who uses BenchTested at benchtested.app. By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Using the site

You may read, share and link to our pages for personal and business research. Please do not copy the site in bulk, scrape it at a rate that slows it down, try to break or bypass its security, or use it for anything unlawful.

Our reviews are opinions

Scores, labels and verdicts are our editorial opinion, based on the tests described on How we test. They reflect the version we tested, on our test machine, on the date shown. Your experience may differ with another version, plan, device or setup. Our content is general information, not professional, legal, security or financial advice.

Prices and accuracy

We check facts against official sources and show the date we checked them, but software, prices and plans change often. Always confirm the current price and terms on the vendor’s own website before you buy. If you spot a mistake, please tell us and we will correct it.

Our content

The text, scores, test logs, charts, our logo, our mascot Benny and the screenshots we take on our test machine belong to BenchTested. You may quote short passages with a link back to the page. For anything more, such as republishing a review or using our screenshots, ask us first.

Trademarks

Product names, logos and trademarks of the apps we review belong to their owners. We use them only to identify the products we test. Their use does not mean the owners endorse BenchTested, and we are not affiliated with any of them unless we say so.

Other websites

We link to other websites, including vendors’ sites and, sometimes, through affiliate links described in our disclosure. We are not responsible for the content, products or privacy practices of those sites.

Liability

The site is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, BenchTested is not liable for any loss that results from relying on its content or from using the software it reviews. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
